Lisa Jackson, daughter of Payson resident Diane Jackson and the late Carl Jackson, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from The Pennsylvania State University on Dec. 22, 2006.
Lisa is a 2003 Payson High School graduate.
While at college she had double emphases in creative writing and publishing, as well as a minor in technical writing.
She hopes to attend graduate school for rhetoric and composition at Arizona State University this fall.
Jackson was also a member of Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority, of which she was a past president.
She hopes to eventually become an English professor at the university level.
