Tonto Basin Receives $21,000 From Credit For Kids

Tonto Basin School District received $21,000 in their Credit for Kids Campaign.

"That is the most we have ever received," said principal Johnny Ketchem.

He did not have a breakdown of the funds received, but said 98 percent went to the school with "a bit" specifically to music and field trips.

A good portion of the Credit for Kids money will be used to remodel the playground and ball field.

"I want to thank everyone who contributed, but especially the people in Payson who donated," he said. "They did not have to send their money down here."
