Erma Bedell


Erma Bedell, 79, of Payson, died July 12, 2007, at the home of her daughter.

Born in Minnesota on Oct. 23, 1927, Mrs. Bedell moved to Payson in 2000. She married Bill Bedell in 2003. Together, they were camp hosts for the National Forest Service until she became ill.

She is survived by her husband, Bill of Payson; daughters, Betty (Julius) Eisenschenk of Payson and Linda Rempfer of Melrose, Minn. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Becky Young of Texas. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jim (Colleen) Rempfer of Maplewood, Minn., Amy (Jason) Kern of Hopkins, Minn., Ross Eisenschenk of Hopkins, John Rempfer of Melrose, Minn., Julie (Kurt) Soular of Maplewood, Minn., Edie Eisenschenk and Heidi (Christian) Deutsch, both of Peoria. She had 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by spouses Ed Heinen and Arthur Armstrong, great-granddaughter Morgan Jo Rempfer, her parents and five siblings, all lifelong residents of Minnesota.

A special thank you to RTA Hospice, especially Louise Tjernagel, Joe Wilson, Teresa Feder, Kathy Vance, Dr. Glow and Dr. Lowe.

Mrs. Bedell was cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at Lamplighter RV Park Clubhouse in Star Valley from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 12, 2007.

A memorial will also be held in Minnesota at a later date.
