Charles L. Weber


Charles L. Weber died July 20, 2007 after a long illness. He was born Aug. 12, 1925 in Altoona, Pa.

Mr. Weber served two years in the Army Air Corps in Alaska at the end of World War II. He married Margaret H. Burke on June 16, 1951. He enjoyed a long and prosperous career as a design draftsman with the Bendix Corporation for 35 years.

Upon retirement, he and Margaret moved to Payson, where they have resided for 17 years. He enjoyed travel, woodworking and watching the birds and the clouds. He was a long-standing member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion.

The funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 25 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, followed by interment at the Mountain Meadows Memorial Park after a memorial luncheon.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; his daughter, Mary; two sisters, two nieces and one nephew.
