Cory Baugh, a member of the two-man rap group called Foundation, gestures toward the audience during the first of many rap tunes with a religious message. Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church sponsored a free barbecue and youth concert Saturday, July, 21 at Rumsey Park. Foundation was the main attraction.

Children's Crusade

Pastor Terry Glaze and TEEN's from Enid, Okla. will be coming to minister to adults and youth from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, July 28 at Payson Living Word Bible Church, 94 Cornerstone Way (across from Lumbermens).

The Children's Crusade is for children, ages 4 to 12.

Pastor Glaze will be the special speaker at the 10:30 a.m., Sunday, July 29 worship service.

Blair is guest speaker

Ed Blair, speaker for the gathering of the Payson Center for Spiritual Awareness on Sunday, July 29 at 11 a.m., is a recovering Minnesotan. His first seven years were spent in a humble home, just a block from Sinclair Lewis' Main Street in Sauk Centre, Minn. He attended school, college and seminary in Minnesota and served two Lutheran churches for 35 years in Minnesota.

Moving to Payson in 2002, he and his wife Karyl have become very active in the community and enjoy the climate and people in Payson. His talk is about "Amazing Grace."
