Conrad Schneider, 72, died May 21, 2007 in Payson, with his family by his side, in the care of the RTA Hospice staff. He was born May 26, 1934 in Pasadena, Calif.
Mr. Schneider retired from the Air Force, after serving 20 years.
To those who didn't know him as Dad or Papa, he was Con, or to the neighborhood kids, Pops. He was loved by his family for his genuine kindness and loving heart.
Mr. Schneider always loved children and in the past few years, greatly enjoyed spending time with his great-grandchildren, Chandler-Conrad Bunting and Jaelynn Bunting.
He is survived by his son, Russell Schneider; daughters, Stacy (Fred) Bryan and Jodi Schneider; brothers, Jack Meyer, James Meyer and George Snider; sisters, Maureen Straunne, Velma Davis and Kathleen Rosenfield; grandchildren, Daniel, Amanda and Connie Schneider; and at least six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Snider; and a son, Ronald Lane Schneider.
No services were held, but a special thank you goes to all the RTA Hospice staff, who made such a positive impact on his life over the last four years and took exceptional care of someone we love so much.
