Just a note to say thanks to the community, for its response for the Ninth Annual Mountain High Days, Arts and Crafts Bazaar, over Memorial Day weekend on the Gila County Courthouse grounds. The attendance was on a par with other years, even with the gasoline spike in prices for Valley visitors.
Next year, being the tenth year of the local event, a special weekend celebration is planned.
I wish to thank, for their part and cooperation to put on the event, Gila County Supervisors and staff, the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Payson Roundup, Waste Matters, Wrangler Plumbing, KMOG Radio, APS and Roger Buchanan and friends. It was once again a pleasure to bring this community event to the Town of Payson.
This weekend event and the Zane Grey days is a fund-raising arm of Greater Grace Fellowship, a church ministry, with ministries in Yuma, and Show Low.
