Payson Bible Fellowship moving Rim Country Health and Retirement

The Payson Bible Fellowship is moving to the fellowship hall at Rim Country Health and Retirement Center for services beginning Sunday, July 1.

"We had no idea when we started a year ago, July 9, 2006 was our first Sunday, that we would be needing more space within the year," said pastor Mike Amundson.

A wide age range of people, ages 8 to 84, from many denominational backgrounds, attend the morning Bible study, Amundson said.

Coffee and pastries are available at 8 a.m.; Bible study is 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Each week, participants review the previous week's lesson, and then the pastor presents the current lesson with specific Bible passages.

Amundson poses questions for the readings and discussion follows to pull the "meaning and flavor out of the Word."

He chose the time of the meeting to accommodate people who wish to attend their own church after the Bible study.

The fellowship hall is located within the apartment side of the RCHRC facility at 809 W. Longhorn Rd., Payson.
