Free family movie night planned at Methodist church

People of all ages are invited to a free family movie night at 7 p.m. Friday, March 2, at Payson United Methodist Church, 414 N. Easy St.

Lenten services continue in March at Lutheran church

The public is invited to join members of Mount Cross Lutheran Church, 601 E. Highway 260 (between Safeway & Giant) at 5 p.m. every Wednesday through the month of March.

There will be a supper with the Disciples of Mount Cross from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by a midweek Lenten service from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

St. Patrick's Day dinner to include beef, cabbage

A St. Patrick's Day Dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 16 at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, 507 W. Wade Lane (behind the high school).

Dinner will include corned beef, cabbage, glazed carrots, parsley potatoes, Jell-O salad, rolls, dessert and beverages.

Price for adults is $8, children under 10 are $4.

Tickets will be available at the door. Takeout is available.
