Thank you for article on skipping jury duty

As a student at Rim Country Middle School, I would like to thank you for the article on skipping jury duty.

We are currently studying the judicial system and I have learned just how important it is to show up for jury duty. As the article mentioned, everyone deserves his or her day in court.

Moreover, if not all prospective jurors are present, the defendant could receive an unjust trial.

I hope that this article has informed the citizens of Payson about their importance in the judicial system.
