High winds resulted in a house fire spreading to two neighboring homes in Beaver Valley Saturday morning.
Whispering Pines Fire Chief Mark Essary said a home on Buckskin Road burned to the ground and winds ranging from 35 to 40 mph resulted in two adjacent homes catching fire.
He said one of the homes had minor damage to the siding and eaves, while the other home had significant damage, but is salvageable.
Fourteen vehicles from the fire departments of Beaver Valley, Whispering Pines, Houston Mesa, Payson, Diamond Star and Pine-Strawberry were used to fight the fire.
The cause of the fire and amount of damage to the three homes has yet to be determined.
