Is The War In Iraq Dooming Us To Financial Ruin?

Editor:

I'm writing in response to Joe Gasiel's letter to the Bush bashers. I am not exactly a Bush basher, but I am very concerned about the mounting debt from the war in Iraq. Many concerned citizens compare the Iraq War with the awful Vietnam War, but have we forgotten how Russia's war in the Middle East financially ruined Russia before they were forced to quit. How much longer will China be able to carry Bush's federal borrowing spree? Can America last through the 2008 elections? Or are we doomed to falter down the road of no return to relive the Great Depression?
