The Wal-Mart Supercenter store in Payson was evacuated Friday for about an hour, after a bomb threat was phoned into the store.
Payson Police Commander Don Engler said the department received a call at 3:41 p.m. By the time officers arrived, Wal-Mart was already in the process of evacuating the store.
Officers teamed up with a few Wal-Mart employees as they searched the store for a bomb, Engler said.
At 4:36 p.m., Wal-Mart employees and customers were allowed to return to the store.
