Kenneth Harlan Riggs, 79, of Payson, died March 24, 2007 at his home. He was born April 11, 1927 in New Madrid, Mo.

He was a World War II Navy veteran in the Pacific Theater.

Mr. Riggs spent most of his working career with Kaiser Permanente in Northern California and eventually retired to Payson.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha; a daughter, Nina Wright; sons Michael Crawford, Joel Crawford, Paul (Cathy) Crawford and Michael Jones Riggs, all of California. His grandchildren are Brian (Masako) Crawford, Aaron Crawford, Kevin Crawford, Jacob (Danelle) Crawford; and granddaughters, Shelby Kenna Wright, Stephanie (Mike) Silva and Becky Riggs. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, one uncle, his sister, Mary (David) Flider of Payson, and two brothers, Carlton (Clea) Riggs of San Bernadino, Calif. and Thomas (Rita) Riggs of St. Louis, Mo.

Mr. Riggs was preceded in death by his son, Mark Riggs.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 30 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at Ponderosa and Continental in Payson. Interment will be in Raymond, Calif.
