Kyle Leroy Hochstetler


Kyle Leroy Hochstetler, 29, a former student of Payson, died March 9, 2007 in Mesa. He was born June 5, 1977 in Gallup, N.M.

He was an avid motocross rider, winning the 1999 Loretta Lynn Championship in the 250cc open category in Nashville, Tenn. He had been racing motocross and winning a number of races from the Midwest to southern states. More recently, he received his state certification as a welder.

Survivors include his mother, Nancy Ehlert Galladora and father, Mel Hochstetler, both of Payson; two brothers, Jason and Eric Bechner and a sister, Trisha Ehlert, all of Payson.

He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and a brother, Robert.

His grandfather, John Joseph Galladora, 72, died March 7, 2007 in Star Valley. He was born Aug. 24, 1934 in Tickfaw, La. His obituary appeared in the March 13 edition of the Payson Roundup.

A memorial service for both Mr. Hochstetler and Mr. Galladora is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31 at the Payson First Assembly of God Church, 1100 W. Lake Drive, Payson.
