Assist-2-Sell Opens Franchise In Payson

John and Lonna Rood have opened an Assist-2-Sell franchise in Payson.

Assist-2-Sell is the country's leading discount real estate company, with more than 600 offices throughout the United States.

Lonna and John Rood have opened an Assist-2-Sell franchise to help Rim Country residents ready to enter the real estate market.

After more than 20 years experience in the industry, the Roods recognized that home sellers were tired of paying high commissions. They opened the business in January.

The company works with both sellers and buyers with one main objective -- to save them money.

The Roods were immediately attracted to the firm's innovative marketing programs.

Now, one low fee buys the services of a professional real estate agent to sell a home. This is the flat fee program and does not include the property in the Multiple Listing Service. There are no upfront or hidden fees. The Roods call it "full service with savings." The second program involves a flat fee plus 3 percent and includes the Multiple Listing Service. However, if one of the Assist-2-Sell agents moves the property, the customer only pays the flat fee.

The Roods have always wanted to give customers full service at a reasonable cost and still make a profit. The difference between them and other real estate companies is that they give the home seller the choice of two marketing programs. Both are designed to save a considerable amount of money.

Since the year 2000, Assist-2-Sell has saved home sellers around the country close to a billion dollars in commissions, the Roods said.

The team has set very high standards where customer service and team efforts are concerned. The new Payson Assist-2-Sell franchise is at 102 W. Roundup Road. For more information, contact John or Lonna at (928) 474-1155 or (602) 320-1409. The office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The Roods have been Rim Country homeowners for six years and made the area their permanent residence two years ago. Both are natives of the Phoenix area, Lonna said.
