The Payson Public Library Children's Departmentelebrated Cinco de Mayo Saturday, offering children a fun way to learn about the Mexican culture.
Festivities began at 1 p.m. and lasted until 2:30 p.m.
Childrenistened to Terri Roberts, a library employee, who readilingual stories and sang songs in Spanish.
Every age had their own candy-filled piƱata to hit. A beautiful pinata was handmade and donated by the Amaya family for the event.
About 40 children attended the event.
