Main Street Office Park Ready For Tenants

Physicians, other medical providers and professionals have a new place to set up shop. The Payson Professional Plaza on the south side of East Main Street, 117 E. Main, is "at the point of delivery," said owner/agent Kevin Heinonen.

"The buildings are ready for tenants to improve," he said. His company built the shells, now doctors, dentists, other medical providers and professionals can come in, pick the spot they want and design and build the interior to their own specifications.

"We hope, as the hospital expands, this becomes a natural place to use," he said. "We are providing people with the ability to purchase their office space for as much as they can rent other places."

There are eight buildings in the plaza. Seven can be split into two offices, with room enough in each office for two physicians. The eighth building can accommodate three, Heinonen said. "Each unit has its own tax number, its own heating and cooling unit. The tenants will be responsible for the interior. A property manager will take care of the common areas and exteriors of the buildings."

The process to get an office in the Payson Professional Plaza operations will take four to six months.

Heinonen's company broke ground on the project 10 months ago, but there were two years of work before that. Construction over the last 10 months on the 3-acre site has been mostly done by local contractors, he said.

An open house is planned for early June, with the assistance of the Payson Regional Economic Development Corporation.
