Thank you to each person who made this year's National Day of Prayer a success here in Rim Country. Special thanks go to each of the following people: Pastor Gordon Hauptman, Ron Lampert, Ted Durst and music leader Kevin Morris of Crossroads Foursquare Church; Mae Rose Bergeson at Mountain Bible Church; Mayor Bob Edwards, pastors Joe Hittle, Dr. Terry Cadwell and Ken Curl; Payson Community Christian School students Kayla Burger and Chase Buckpitt, plus Larry Moore, Steve Stevens, Lud Kaftan, Nelson Beck and music leader Isaac Bradford, for the event at Rumsey Park; Sheryl de Koevend and others at Pine's First Baptist Church, for the unique observance there; the pastors, Dr. Joe Falkner and Allen Mann, plus music leader Frank Hill for the new evening event at Ponderosa Baptist Church; and Mayor Bob Edwards and the Gila County Supervisors for their proclamations for the National Day of Prayer. Extra thanks also go to the others who prayed and attended the events, where there was a total attendance of about 230. Most of all praise and thanks go to our Almighty God, in Jesus' name, for His rich blessings. To Him goes the glory. May he continue to bless our community and nation.
