On behalf of Payson Center for Success High School, I would like to express our deepest appreciation for the exceptional work of your editor, Autumn Phillips, in assisting us with the publication of our school's Historic Gazette. Ms. Phillips gave freely of her personal time to work with our students, teaching them software programs, layout and design of newspapers. The result is an eight-page history of the field trip our school took to Washington, D.C. and Williamsburg this spring. A copy of this free newspaper is available to the Payson community as a tangible product of the students' work and as a thank you for the tremendous support we received through Credit for Kids funding.
Certainly, we thank all of our contributors, as repeatedly stated in the Historic Gazette articles. However, we would like all your readers to realize the personal service and enthusiasm that the Roundup staff and especially Ms. Phillips provided. We are delighted to be a part of the strong relationship the Roundup has established with the schools.
Finally, we are overwhelmed by your donation to cover the printing costs for the Historic Gazette. It is an indication of the commitment you have made to the entire Payson community and truly proves that "it takes a village" to educate a child.
