Baptist church offers free ‘Hope' concert

Come and enjoy one of the finest singing groups to visit the Rim Country.

The group "Hope" from California Baptist University will be performing at the Church On Randall Place at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 4.

This group consistently presents an exceptional musical program with each performance.

Free concert canceled

The Rock the Park Concert by Cromed Glass, featuring Dave McKoy, has been canceled. The concert was previously scheduled for June 2 at Rumsey Park. For more information, call (928) 468-6142.

Kingdom Quest plans vacation Bible school

The Payson First Church of the Nazarene will have Vacation Bible School for children in the first through sixth grades from 1 to 4 p.m. June 4-8.

The theme of the week is "Kingdom Quest," in which Lady Victory and Conquering Knight lead students on a quest to discover the Armor of God.

Shepherd of the Pines discontinues Saturday service

Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, 507 W. Wade Lane, has temporarily discontinued its Saturday evening worship services for the summer months, during Pastor Todd Arnold's sabbatical in England.
