Pretending To Play Digital Bugle Does Not Preserve Tradition

Editor:

I read your article about EchoTaps, but I'm sad to see you've pictured MSgt. Moore (retired) holding a digital (fake) bugle.

This is exactly what EchoTaps is trying to overcome -- the use of a digital bugle, instead of a live bugler.

Bullet point #2 from your article stated, the purpose of EchoTaps is to foster a new generation of buglers who will help preserve the tradition of a live bugler to play Final Military Honor.

Sorry, but it's not a live bugler if they're holding a digital device and pushing a button while pretending to pay.
