November Menu


The Payson Senior Center serves a hot meal at noon weekdays in the dining room at 514 W. Main St.

No membership is required.

Cost of the meal is $3 for persons 60 and older, $5 for those younger than 60.

Meals can also be delivered to homebound individuals.

Reservations must be made one day in advance.

The menu for November is as follows:

Nov. 6: Baked chicken, cauliflower, green beans, apricots, two slices wheat bread

Nov. 7: Pot roast, roasted veggies, brussels sprouts, sugar-free Jell-O with 1/2 cup berries, two biscuits

Nov. 8: Barbecue beef, carrot salad, cauliflower, sugar-free lemon pie filling in graham cup, wheat roll

Nov. 9: Tilapia, mashed potatoes with cheese, cole slaw, peaches, two slices wheat bread

Nov. 12: Breaded chicken patties, spinach, salad with four slices tomato, citrus, two seven-grain rolls

Nov. 13: Fish sticks, baked beans, 1/2 cup mixed veggies, chocolate pudding, two slices wheat bread

Nov. 14: Ham, scalloped potatoes, broccoli, strawberry pie in graham cracker cup, seven-grain roll

Nov. 15: Boneless ribs, garden salad with four tomato wedges, 1/2 cup potatoes, corn, peaches with no added sugar, two slices wheat bread

Nov. 16: Meat loaf, carrots, broccoli, fruit Jell-O with 2/3 cup mixed berries, wheat roll, corn bread

Nov. 19: Chicken breast, twice-baked potato, broccoli, fruit cocktail with light whipped cream, two wheat rolls

Nov. 20: Spaghetti with meat balls, garden salad, mixed veggies, citrus fruit, slice garlic bread

Nov. 21: Oven-baked chicken legs (two), mashed potatoes, carrots, cake, two seven-grain rolls

Nov. 22: Closed for Thanksgiving holiday

Nov. 23: Closed for Thanksgiving holiday

Nov. 26: Beef brats, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, citrus fruit mix, two pieces corn bread

Nov. 27: Tilapia, 1/2 cup mixed veggies, broccoli salad with low-fat mayo, mixed light fruit, rice, wheat roll

Nov. 28: Pork loin, garlic potatoes, spinach, light apple filling in graham cup, seven-grain roll

Nov. 29: Hamburger, sweet potatoes with light syrup, green beans, light chocolate pudding, two wheat rolls

Nov. 30: Sliced ham with wild rice, corn, lima beans, 8 ounces orange juice, wheat bread
