Our second annual golf tournament held at the Payson Golf course was a success because of those golfers that participated and those local businesses who made donations. They include the following: Mazatzal Hotel and Casino, Apache Tonto Tribe, Chaparral Pines, Kohl's Ranch, Lumbermans, PostNet, Realty Executives, ERA Young Realty, Chapman Auto, Roy Haught Excavating, Crabdree Insurance, Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber, Rim Country Republican Club, Dick Wolf Custom Jewelry, Payson Golf Course, Brenda Baker, Rim Country Power Sports, Critter Clipper Pet Grooming, Fargo's Steak House, Big O Tires, Home Depot, and Laura Cannon of the New Ewe.
The Gateway Project is a nonprofit organization made up of a small group of private citizens who are currently raising money to landscape the roundabout located at Hwy 87 and Tyler Parkway. Following the completion of the landscaping, our goal is to have a life-sized bronze elk, created by Payson artist, Jim Keller, erected in the roundabout as a welcome to all entering the Rim Country.
