According to unofficial election results as of Tuesday night, the county bond and sales tax issues were overwhelmingly defeated.
With 25 of 39 Gila County precincts reporting and about 64 percent of the votes tallied, both issues were failing by a three-to-one margin.
The bond issue for the court facilities had received 5,981 total votes with 4,587 cast against and 1,394 cast in favor.
The jails district and sales tax increase measure had received 5,935 total votes with 4,586 against and 1,349 in favor of the measure.
Dixie Mundy, Gila County director of elections, said the results would not be finalized for several days.
Mundy said early ballots and provisional ballots still need to be verified by the county recorder.
"We're hoping to be finished by the end of the week," she said.
