From Students To Our Veterans

Editor's Note: These letters were written to our veterans by Payson Elementary students.

Dear Veteran George,

Thank you for fighting for our country. Thank you for letting us have the life we have. I am sure that it was very sad, what you had to see. You sacrificed your life, just so we could have freedom. It think it was very nice what you did. I bet it was very hard saying goodbye and not knowing if that was the last goodbye. Every day, we say the pledge and I think of what you had to go through. You fought for our flag and I thank you for doing that.
