It's time again for the Main Street/APS Electric Light Parade. The seventh annual Electric Light Parade on historic Main Street in Payson will take place Dec. 1.
The lighted floats start parading down the street at 6 p.m. This year's parade will start at Westerly and proceed down West Main Street to Green Valley Parkway.
Applications are available at the Main Street Office at 600 S. Green Valley Parkway and individuals, as well as businesses, are encouraged to participate.
All entries must be decorated with lights and the fun begins.
Payson Unified School District #10 will again provide transportation for spectators by school bus, starting at the McLane parking lot of the high school and dropping them off near West Main Street, so you don't have to worry about finding a parking spot.
This shuttle will start at 5:15 p.m. and deliver you back to the school after the event. Remember, the parade goes on even if it rains or snows, so bundle up and bring your chairs to enjoy the holiday season.
