Flolani Purvis, owner and operator, has a background in specialty shops at landmark resorts, including the Maui Prince, Grand Wailea and the Ritz Carlton, as well as high-end department stores, such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Macy's.
Most recently she had a shop in Lake Havasu. On a day when the temperature was 117 degrees, she decided to take a drive. As she drove through Payson, she immediately decided she wanted to move her shop here.
There is something for everyone: Sponge Bob jackets and dolls for children; collectible comic books and John Deere miniatures; antique books; and unusual clothing choices.
Shoppers can find warm, comfortable boots, colorful skirts and blouses, beautiful wraps and belts and purses, with or without flashy Swarovski crystals. Prices are reasonable, especially when compared to those in the Valley.
New merchandise arrives daily.
Purvis was born in the Philippines, raised in Hawaii and moved to California for college. She has made many Hawaiian dolls and has a large selection of unique dolls in her store. She is also a retired hula teacher.
To learn more, give the shop a call at (928) 474-6676, it is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
