Businesses Helped Humane Society With Fund-Raisers

Payson Humane Society would like to thank two area businesses for their recent donations and inclusion in recent fund-raising events.

Thank you to Cori Richman from Blue's Gallery in Pine. She organized the first annual Blue's Dog Walk at the Pine Trailhead. Proceeds from the event went to the Pine/ Strawberry School and the Payson Humane Society. We received $1,700 from the event. We also got a shelter dog adopted at the walk. It was a great time and wonderful opportunity for PHS. Thank you, Cori.

Another big thank you goes to Payson Concrete and their customers who purchased material during the month of October. During this "October Fest" event, a portion of each purchase went to local charities. Payson Humane Society received $1,550 from the event. Thank you, Tim Hughes and George Randall, for including us in this event, as you have in past years.

Payson Humane Society receives most of the funds needed to operate the shelter from donations from generous individuals, organizations, and businesses like the ones mentioned above. We could not operate without these donations. This kind of support is crucial in helping us to accomplish our mission of caring for the homeless animals of Rim Country.
