Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to The Rim Review.
Wow! There is so much happening in the Rim Country for the holidays, my calendar is spilling over its datelines.
Inside our pages, Erin Turner bridges the divide between man and nature at a White Mountain cabin.
Tim Ehrhardt gives us insight into Four Peaks Pumpkin Porter and moments in the life of a beer geek.
Movie reviewers Ray Baxter and Troy Wayland sat through Jerry Seinfeld's black and yellow striped "Bee Movie." In our pages you will find out where they got stung.
Shirley Brimm gives us butter biscuits with marzipan and a brandy snap ring on our cooking pages.
You can sail down the waterways of Europe -- Cologne, Koblenz, Wurzburg, Nuremberg, Vienna, Bratislava, and Budapest -- with Ken Brooks.
The photography of Matalyn Gardner is featured in our artist profile.
When I saw the photograph of Gardner's blue heron in first flight (it is not pictured in the article), I thought she must have been in some other state. In reality, it was on the East Verde River that flows through her back yard. The Firewise program in East Verde Park uses the photo as their program logo.
May your pies be tasty and your cranberries be tart,
