Payson Apothecary Pharmacy will celebrate its sixth anniversary on Dec. 26. It will be celebrating a 13-month anniversary in its new site on the Beeline side, of Sawmill Crossing.
The shop made the move from the Main Street side to the Beeline side as part of the shopping center's changes for the move by Macky's Grill to Sawmill Crossing. The move gained about 100 square feet more for the shop.
With more room, customers have a comfortable waiting area; the shop has increased its inventory and installed a new dispensing robot.
"The robot has helped us turn up the volume on our service. We are dispensing at a good pace now," said owner Craig Mathews.
Payson Apothecary Pharmacy employs 10 people now, including Mathews and his wife, Raenel.
"We want to thank our customers for their support over the years. We really appreciate their help to the little guy making it," Mathews said.
Payson Apothecary Pharmacy is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday.
