With the start of the holiday season, Mike and Debbie Stuart of Gasoline Alley said they wanted to say thanks for the overwhelming support they have received from the community.
"We have so many repeat customers from the Payson area and the Valley and it makes us feel really good," Debbie said.
"The popularity of the antiques and collectibles carried at Gasoline Alley has caused us to greatly increase and vary our inventory," said Mike.
The shop has a wide range of prices and carries everything from terrific stocking stuffers to unique, one-of-a-kind gifts.
The Stuarts have stocked up for the holidays with character collectibles like items with "John Wayne," "I Love Lucy," "Betty Boop," and many other officially licensed themes.
"The new collectibles have turned into a big part of the business," Debbie said.
Mike said he wants to be sure people who have not visited the shop before realize that, in spite of the "manly" name -- Gasoline Alley -- they have gifts for both guys and gals.
There are lots of unusual cards, nostalgic candy and hot rod merchandise, including signs, clocks, hats, watches and neons.
Stop by Gasoline Alley at 407 W. Main Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday through Monday. You can also shop online at www.GasolineAlleyAz.com and watch a video of the story by clicking on "shopping" at www.PlanetPayson.com.
