Ox Bow Helping Motorcycle Club Food Drive

Residents and visitors wishing to help the annual food drive organized by the motorcycle group, ABATE, can drop off nonperishable food at the Ox Bow Saloon this year.

This holiday season, the Ox Bow is also planning regular special promotions to spice of the long winter nights.

The Ox Bow Saloon is a popular watering hole year-round, but if you want to celebrate the holidays in historic surroundings, you need to book space for your party now.

Monday will be poker night; Tuesday is men's night with a pool tournament; Wednesday is karaoke night; Thursday is ladies' night; and Friday and Saturday night there will be no cover charge for the ladies.

Music is provided by both a D.J. and a live band every Friday and Saturday night, too.

The grill is hot from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Coming in December, the Ox Bow is holding Bartender Wars on Monday and Tuesday nights. Bartenders from other establishments are invited to come work the Ox Bow bar in teams of two. The team with the most cash register receipts will win a trip to Las Vegas.

Plans for the New Year's Eve celebration at the historic watering hole are still being finalized.

There is room in the reservation book for holiday parties. To reserve a space for your celebration, call the Ox Bow no later than a week in advance of your desired date. For more information and to make reservations, call (928) 468-9797 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
