Payson Care Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, is welcoming a new executive director, Brian Hackerott.
"Brian is an excellent manager with great communication skills," said Dennis Graf, vice president of Life Care Centers of America's Mesquite Region, of which Payson Care Center is a part. "He is extremely people-oriented and approachable, and he displays an interest in his staff."
"Our goal at Payson Care Center is to offer our residents the best care possible by focusing on customer service and quality care," said Hackerott. "We will ensure that our residents, their families and friends will have a wonderful experience at our home."
Hackerott comes to Payson Care Center from Life Care Center of Copper Basin in Ducktown, Tenn., where he served as executive director for almost two years. Prior to that appointment, he was executive director at Life Care's Valley View Villa facility in Fort Morgan, Colo. He has 10 years of experience in project management, prioritizing, team-building, interviewing, employee evaluation and resource management. He has been the assistant executive director at one of Life Care's other facilities and has 16 years of experience at the Kansas Department of Transportation, as the highway maintenance supervisor.
A native of the Kansas City area, Hackerott earned his bachelor's degree in business administration. He currently resides in Fountain Hills, Ariz., with his wife, Gale. They have three children and are looking forward to the birth of their ninth grandchild.
