Sample the quality of DISH Network or DirecTV on high definition televisions at Rim Country Cellular's new store in Ponderosa Village at 309 E Highway 260.
Moving into the new suite provided the company with the space it needs to show off, not only its alternative television services, but provide a more comfortable atmosphere for its customers.
The staff gives customers one-on-one service and the expanded space makes it possible for hands-on examination of the different phone designs. Rim Country Cellular has about 20 of the 40 models of Verizon phones on display.
With Verizon, Rim Country Cellular has a new national phone plan available with unlimited messaging to any network, which includes texting, pictures and videos.
The store also has a special phone and plan designed especially for senior citizens, using a larger keypad, larger screen, louder ringer and enhanced audio.
The advantage of shopping "in store" versus online is that if you don't like your phone, you don't have to ship it back and be without a phone. You can come back and exchange it right then and there.
Rim Country Cellular is the area's Verizon wireless retailer, as well as local connection for DISH Network and DirecTV.
It also has accessories of all shapes and sizes for your cellular phones. Broadband cards are available for $59.99 a month, offering unlimited Internet for laptops or desktop computers.
The company has been serving the Rim Country for 12 years. In addition to store owner Susan LaBonte and manager Adam Jonus, the staff includes Lisa Hillegas, assistant manager, Danielle O'Connor, Carmen Jones and Mark Henning, DISH technician.
Rim Country Cellular is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday. For more information, call (928) 474-4744.
