The deadline to register in the upcoming county election is Monday.
Because Monday is a holiday, the Gila County Recorder's Office recommends registering on Friday, or getting the registration materials and mailing them in Saturday morning.
Residents who have lived in their voting precinct for 29 days or more and are qualified electors, may register to vote in the Nov. 6 election on the county's bond question for criminal justice facilities.
Early/absentee ballots may be obtained until 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26. Early ballots must be postmarked or voted by Nov. 2. The early ballots voted in person must be voted at the County Recorder's Office, 201 W. Frontier St., Payson.
You may register at this address or obtain registration material to be mailed. Registration forms are also available at Payson Town Hall.
