LQ Harris III is Going to Jail for Jerry's Kids Oct. 16

The Payson Campus of Gila Community College is putting LQ Harris III, IT Technician for the Payson Campus, behind bars for "Jerry's Kids" to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 2 p.m.

The Greater Arizona Chapter serves people with neuromuscular disease by providing a clinic at Barrows Neurological Institute/St. Joseph's Medical Center, assistance with the purchase and repair of wheelchairs, braces and communication devices, and a special camp for "Jerry's Kids" each summer. MDA also funds research grants to help find treatments and cures for 43 neuromuscular diseases that affect people of all ages.

You can help bail LQ out of jail or even prevent him from going to jail by making a contribution to the "LQ MDA Bail Fund," coordinated by Tom Rothwell in the Wellness Center of Gila Community College, 201 N. Mud Springs Road. You can also check out LQ's status and make a contribution online at ParticipantInfo.aspx?j=26eee94b-58fb-40fb-819d-698448d6b0d9.
