Can't Compare Clinton To Petraeus

Editor:

Regarding a letter of Sept. 21 and the comparison of President Clinton and General Petraeus. She thinks it is OK to label Gen. Petraeus because people said mean things about President Clinton. Even if true, you cannot justify a wrong by claiming another wrong. The record shows that President Clinton was a philanderer, that he abused his position to take sexual advantage of a woman 30 years his junior.

He lied in federal court, was disbarred and fined a large amount of money. He is a blackguard and a rogue. Because people said as much about him, the letter writer claims it fair play to lie about a hero.

Fact Checker gave the Moveon ad three Pinocchios for lying. Thanks. Send them another check.
