Shooting demos

A member of the Arizona Mounted Shooter Association demonstrated the sport during an exhibition at the Payson Event Center Sunday.

The shooters rode between two sets of ballons and had to shoot one row out on the way up and the other row out on the way back.

Other demonstrations at the event center Sunday included Dutch Oven cooking, pole bending, barrel racing, mutton-busting and K-9 events.

All of the demonstrations Sunday were free to the public and part of the community's 125th birthday celebration.
