I am very uncomfortable with the way Mayor Edwards and three council members sacked our town HR director. All discussions seem to have taken place in secret. Does Mayor Edwards have a secret "star chamber" where he can arrange actions against town employees without allowing them due process? The suggestion that "this will promote greater effectiveness and efficiency" is often used to justify actions that will not withstand the light of close scrutiny. It is my opinion that Mayor Edwards needs to be far more forthcoming in explaining what this is all about.
