A Show Low resident was involved in a single vehicle rollover accident Wednesday, resulting in minor injuries to the driver.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., Donald Buckallew, 61, was driving his 2005 Ford pickup when he lost control and rolled over into a ravine near milepost 258.2 on Highway 260.
Buckallew told Jesse Davies, Payson Police officer, that he was westbound on Highway 260 when an unidentified vehicle turned in front of him onto Pinon Drive, causing him to swerve to avoid a collision.
Payson Police said skid marks at the scene indicated Buckallew had made an abrupt right and then swerved left, impacting an embankment, which sent his truck airborne. It then rolled over, hit a tree and came to rest in a ravine.
Payson Police and Diamond Star Fire Department responded to the scene where they found Buckallew outside his vehicle, police said.
Buckallew was taken to Payson Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
Payson Police said the cause of the accident is still under investigation and no citations have been issued at this time.
