Reno S. Menegon


Reno S. Menegon died Oct. 10, 2007.

The son of Italian immigrants, Angelo and Amabelie Menegon, he was born on July 19, 1926 in Joliet, Ill. His brothers were Jake and Bruno Menegon and his surviving sister is Betty Furlane.

Mr. Menegon served his country in World War II and the Korean War. He was a gifted and hardworking carpenter by trade. Reno and Carole Joseph Menegon, now deceased, were married for 47 years. He is survived by their four children, Laura Bodker in Scottsdale, Ariz., Larry and Danny Menegon in Joliet, Ill. and Tony Menegon, a resident of Payson, Ariz; and his grandchildren, John Ryan Bodker and Jacob, Joshua and Erin Menegon.

Mr. Menegon was fortunate to enjoy his widowed years with his dear girlfriend, Doris Lemmage, also a Payson resident.

Mr. Menegon was a lover of family, friends, adventure, nature, music and dance.

A memorial service is scheduled at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007 at St. Philips Catholic Church, with refreshments following.
