Students Can Read For The Fun Of It, Earn Cash


The Young Adult Library Services Association will be promoting "Reading for the Fun of it!" to middle and high school age kids this week.

To encourage teen reading, the Payson Public Library is kicking off Teen Reading Week with its second annual Book-mark Contest.

Three winning bookmarks from both the middle and high school levels will be chosen. First place winners will receive $50, second place $25, and third place $15.

Winning bookmark designs will be copied and distributed at the Payson Library.

Entries are due by Nov. 10. Come to the library to pick up an entry form. For information, please contact Harryette at 474-9260.
