Anthony Sevec, husband of Mary Kepilla Sevec, was a native of Joliet, Ill. and a Arizona resident since 1977, died in Payson Oct. 19, 2007.
He was a 50-year member of Harwood Legion, Post 5, he retired from United States Steel Jolietworks, with 35 years service. He had 10 years of service with Intel Electronics in Phoenix. He was a World War II veteran.
He was a father of four, Barbara (Gerald) Schildgen of Gulfshores, Ala.; Anthony Jr. (Judy) of Dothan, Ala.; James (Patricia) of Garden Valley, Calif.; Deborah Sevec of Redondo Beach, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three nieces and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Ballek Sevec; three brothers, Benndict, Joseph, and Johny; a step-father, John Pilarcik.
Services were held at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Payson.
