Artist Will Give Illustrated Talk

William Ahrendt, a nationally known artist who resides in Pine, will give an illustrated talk on his practice as a painter of American subjects.

His talk will include an overview of his investigation of the painting techniques employed by the Renaissance and Baroque masters particularly valid to contemporary painters today and how he has incorporated the techniques used by numerous Baroque masters into his art as a painter.

Ahrendt looks forward to providing members of his audience with answers to their questions concerning the world of fine art, as well as showing a number of paintings produced in his Pine studio.

Art-interested people of all ages will find his presentation interesting and informative.

The presentation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Nov. 4 at Chaparral Pines. The cost is $50 per person.
