Reformation service and Octoberfest at Rock of Ages

A reformation service and Octoberfest will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 28 at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, 2904 W. Airport Road (corner of McLane and Airport Road).

A bratwurst dinner will follow in the fellowship hall, with entertainment by the Senior Center Band. A freewill offering will be accepted. Pastor D. Sweet can be reached at (928) 474-2098 for more information.

Fall Festival

The public is invited to attend the Fall Festival activities being held Oct. 31 in the parking lot at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 913 S. Ponderosa. Scheduled activities are as follows: 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., chili and hot dogs, fun booths; 6:05 p.m. to 6:25 p.m., parade of the costumes (no masks); 6:25 p.m. to 7 p.m. trunk or

treat. There will be prizes for costumes (no masks), chili cook-off and pumpkin carving. Come and enjoy a fun-filled evening with your children.

Holiday sale

The Women's Ministries of Payson First Assembly of God -- "The Church at Green Valley Park" -- invite you to attend their annual Holiday Craft and Bake Sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2 and 3 at 1100 W. Lake Drive (upper level), Payson. There will be baked goods, craft items, jewelry, holiday decorations, ornaments, gift items, and the Women's Ministries specialty: lap throws, baby blankets, and cozy quilts. Come and do your Christmas shopping early.

Blessing House sale

Blessing House Boutique Rummage Sale will be held from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3 at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, 507 W. Wade Lane, Payson. There will be crafts, clothing, small appliances, our famous "cookie walk" and much more. Brats and hot dogs will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

High Country Holiday Bazaar

A High Country Holiday Bazaar will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Tonto Apache Gym on the reservation (south of Payson). Follow the signs.

This event is sponsored by Community Presbyterian Church, 800 W. Main St., Payson. Join in this annual event and shop until you drop. There will be 50-plus tables of beautiful handmade items displayed for your shopping enjoyment, plus a bake sale sponsored by the Presbyterian women.

Stop in a visit with Santa Claus and tell him what is on your wish list. Bring your camera and snap some photos. D.J. Craig will be providing toe-tapping holiday tunes for your listening pleasure. Promise Keepers event

Rim Country men are encouraged to attend the inaugural "PKAdventure" event, which features an in-depth interview with NFL Champion head coach Tony Dungy. The Saturday morning event, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., will also feature Reggie Dabbs, a drama team and the worship group PK7. The closest showing of the event will be at the Scottsdale Pavilions, 9090 East Indian Bend Road, Scottsdale. Artisans wanted
