Knights Of Columbus Have Tootie Rolls

On Oct. 26, 27 and 28, members of the St. Philip Knights of Columbus Council will be located at Wal-Mart, Bashas', Safeway (Sunday only) and other places of business, giving out free Tootsie Rolls to everyone who will accept.

Knights will have canisters to accept donations from the public. The reason is the annual, nationwide Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll drive to help the handicapped.

As in the past, the Payson council will be giving all of their canister income to Payson Special Olympics and the handicapped. The cost of the Tootsie Rolls will be paid by the Knights, not from canister receipts.

This is the 18th year the local Knights have taken part in this Payson fund-raiser. Thank you for your support in the past. We look forward to another successful year.
