George Wall, an avid birder in the western hemisphere, will be the featured speaker at the Payson Birders meeting at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the Payson Public Library community room.
His program will highlight the birds he spotted on his recent trip to Brazil and Argentina.The Hyacinth Macaw is one of the many colorful birds included in his program.
Wall has birded extensively in Arizona, California, Peru, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Galapagos Islands, Ecuador and Mexico.He is a board member of the Sonoran Audubon Society and actively involved in several of their committees.
He is also the editor of the 10-page Audubon Society newsletter and leads the Birders' Anonymous, a group of about 100 bird watchers in Sun City.
