Pet peeve? PessimismFavorite hobby or leisure activity? Hiking would be at the top of my list. Person in history you'd most like to meet and why? There would be many. After visiting Mt. Vernon a few years ago, I think having the opportunity to visit with George Washington would be interesting. would want to hear how his vision for this country would compare to what we have today.
Favorite teacher? My fourth grade teacher was my favorite. Our imaginary trip to Africa was so realistic that I went home and packed a suitcase. She read to us every day.
What was your favorite subject in school and why? It's hard to choose one subject but social studies, Spanish, and biology because my teacher made those subjects so interesting. What was your favorite year in school and why? My years in high school were the best. When I look back, I now know we were blessed with many opportunities to reach our best potential. I treasure my high school friends.
Why Pine Strawberry? Our size makes it a community because the town is very involved. We have the support of our Board of Education, a supportive Superintendent, Principal, and a great staff.
