LaVar Taylor died Aug. 25, 2007 in Payson, Ariz. He was born to Jesse E. and Eva Hoopes Taylor on Jan. 9, 1935 in Safford, Ariz.
Mr. Taylor was a member of the LDS church. He was a Scoutmaster for 27 years. He owned Taylor Laundry Systems in Fairfield, Calif., and served in the National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Taylor; daughters, Cheryl Stock and Diane Taylor; sons, Henry Taylor and LaVar E. Taylor Jr.; sisters, Eva Gene Shiflet, Charlene Good, and LaRue Noble; brother, Irvin Taylor; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007 in Thatcher, Ariz.
